Cinnamon Honey Glazed Grilled Carrots

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 carrots, peeled
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the braai for direct cooking over medium heat 190°C.
  2. Place the carrots in a large pot of boiling water. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove from the water and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the honey and cinnamon.
  4. Grill the carrots over direct medium heat for 6 minutes, rotating at least twice. Brush with the melted butter sauce during the last 3 minutes.
  5. Remove from the grill and serve.
